INTRODUCTION
Anyone may submit a family query about a historical Rock County resident to the Society Newsletter for publication. Priority is given to current members, though. Not a member? Join RCGS before submitting your query.

INSTRUCTIONS

• In the Contact Form, below, type your name and email address
• Review the sample query below for your family research question to include:
• Use ALL CAPS when typing SURNAMES, "Sarah GORDON married Frederick WAITE"
• Say what you're looking for, "I am seeking information about Mary "Alice" A. WAITE (1860-1938)"
• Say what you know, "Frank I. BRADFORD was born 1852, married 29 Dec. 1875 and died 1940"
• Say what you'd be willing to share, "I have photos and a family bible to share."
• Avoid using pronouns; instead, use full names; don't say, "She died..." (readers may wonder who "she" is).
  
• Try to keep your query under 250 words
• If your information isn't solid, say so, "We think she may have died in California."
• Double check for any typos. This query may become a source for others, and we don't want to publish errors.
