GENEALOGY FUN - Helpful, Fun & Quirky Websites for Family Researchers
PROGRAM PRESENTER: Dave Bradford is a U. W. graduate with degrees in medicine and business who speaks regionally to history and genealogy groups about technology and medical topics. He has been a member of the Rock County Genealogical Society and the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center for more than 30 years, and has served board chairperson and secretary of the RCGS. He is currently the long term webmaster for the Society.
PROGRAM SUMMARY: Dave will present 50 Fun Genealogy Activities: Dave will demonstrate examples of the entertaining side of family research in 6 categories:
(1) What's in a Name? - interesting insights into given names, surnames and more,
(2) How to Find Famous Kin & Celebrity Look-Alikes,
(3) Miscellaneous Curiosities to explore,
(4) Photo Frolics - using A. I. and photo-enhancing technologies to tickle your fancy,
(5) Family Fun - Recipe collections and genealogical family games for the whole family, and
(6) Shop ‘til you Drop - a variety of customizable genealogical products & gifts.
